Nei Gong

Der Ausdruck Nei Gong (nei kung, neigung, nae gong) bezeichnet die "innere Arbeit" im Qigong. Ein ähnlicher Begriff ist Xiu Zhen('Kultivierung der Wahrheit'). Besondere Bedeutung hat es in den sogenannten "inneren Kampfkünsten", zu welchen vor allem die Stile des Wudang Shan, des Taijiquan, des Xingyiquan und des Baguazhang zählen, die man von den "äußeren Kampfkünsten" des Shaolin unterscheidet.

Das Nei Gong ist die älteste Form daoistischer Energiearbeit und Heilkunst, aus der sich auch das Qigong und das Tai Chi entwickelt haben.

Eine in den letzten Jahren aufgekommene Form ist das Maoshan Nei Kung (Kunlun).
