Vayu mit Antilope

Vayu (Wind, Luft), auch Pavana (Reinigender), ist die vedische Personifizierung bzw. Gottheit des Windes, der Luft und des Prana. Er ist auch als Vāta, Pavana (Wind,Reiniger) und als Prāṇa bekannt. Sein Reittier ist eine Antilope.
Es werden aber auch Prāna, Apāna, Vyāna, Udāna, and Samāna als 5 Vayu-Gottheiten erwähnt.
