Guhyasamaja
Guhyasamâja (tib.: gsang ba 'dus pa; Die Geheime Versammlung ) ist die Hauptgottheit im buddhistischen Tantra. Sie zählt zu den 8 großen Heruka-Gottheiten (Bluttrinkern) des Mahayoga. Es wird heutzutage speziell von den Gelugpas gelehrt[1].
Das Guhyasamāja - Tantra wird Asaṅga zugeschrieben.
The first of 18 chapters presents the text’s mandala (literally, “circle”), a visual image used in ritual and meditation and understood as the symbolic embodiment of a Tantric text. In the centre of the mandala of this text stands Akṣobhya, the Imperturbable Buddha, the central celestial figure in Tantric Buddhist symbolism. Surrounding him are Vairocana, the Illuminator Buddha, in the east; Amitābha, the Buddha of Infinite Light, who dwells in the Western Paradise, the Pure Land; and the celestial Buddhas, Amoghasiddhi in the north and Ratnasambhava in the south. Other chapters present sexual and horrific symbolism, spiritual techniques, the nature of enlightened consciousness, and other central Tantric concerns.
Die ersten18 Kapitel beschreiben ein Kreis - Mandala das im Ritual und zur Mediattion verwendet wird.
In der Mitte des Mandala dieses Textes steht Buddha Aksobhya. Um ihn herum sind im Osten Vairocana, im Westen Amitabha sowie Amoghasiddhi im Norden und Ratnasambhava im Süden.
Die weiteren Kapitel beinhalten eine sexuelle und sog. schreckliche Symbolik(Zwielichtsprache), spirituelle Techniken, Abhandlungen über die Natur des aufgeklärten Bewusstseins und anderes spezifisch tantrisches.
