Das Sutra der großen Trommel (Skt. mahabheriharaka-sutra, Tib. འཕགས་པ་རྔ་བོ་ཆེ་ཆེན་པོའི་ལེའུ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་མདོ།, Wyl. phags pa rnga bo che chen po'i le'u zhes bya ba theg pa chen po'i mdo) oder Arya mahabheriharaka parivarta nama Mahayana - Sutra prophezeit die zukünfige Geburt von Nagarjuna.
Es ist eines der zehn Mahayana Sutras des Sugatagarbha(Buddhanatur).
Buddha Sakyamuni sagt im Große Trommel - Sutra :
Fühle dich nicht traurig, Ananda, lamentiere nicht .
In zukünftigen Zeiten werde ich die Form von spirituellen Lehren annehmen, um dir und anderen zu helfen.
