Jahrhundert (nach der Natha - Tradition im siebten Jahrhundert) lebte und zwölf Schüler hatte(Sant Nath, Ram Nath, Sharang or Bharang Nath, Dharm Nath, Bairag Nath, Darya Nath, Kaik Nath, Nag Nath, Gangai Nath, Dajja Nath, Jalandhar Nath, Nim Nath) . Seine Lehre stand allen Kasten offen.
Er war ein Schüler von Matsyendra und gilt als Begründer des Laya-Yoga. Mehrere Natha - Untergruppen (Kanphata; gespaltenes Ohr) beziehen sich auf ihn als Gründer.
