Das Dharmaśāstra (Sanskrit: धर्मशास्त्र) ist eine Gruppe von Sanskrittexten(Shastras), die sich auf den Hindu-Dharma beziehen. Zu ihnen zählt auch das Gesetzbuch des Manu.
Es gibt es etwa 100 Dharmashastras mit verschiedenen manchmal gegensätzlichen Sichtweisen, da sie auch von den britischen Kolonialherren für alle Nicht-Muslime formuliert wurden.
