Dharmakaya
Trikaya
Die drei Körper dharmakaya, sambhogakaya und nirmanakaya eines Buddha bilden im Mahayana das Trikaya. Sie sind mit den Trimurti vergleichbar. Sie werden aber im Buddhismus verschieden interpretiert, zB. gibt es auch ein sambhogakaya des dharmakaya etc..
Dharmakaya
Das Dharmakaya steht für die ursprüngliche erleuchtete allumfassende Einheit und Leerheit des Geistes.
Der Buddhist entwickelt einen Dharmakaya-Körper (Körper der Leerheit des Geistes) im Vergleich zum hinduistischen Paramatma-Purusha.
Manchmal wird dem Dharmakaya wird mehr die Weisheit zugeordnet und dem Rupakaya als Form-Kaya das Mitleid zugeordnet.
