Badarayana (IAST Bādarāyaṇa) was ein indischer Philosoph, über dessen Herkunft wenig bekannt ist. Evt. hat er im ersten Jahrhunder CE gelebt.
Er gilt als Author der Vedanta - Sutras bzw. des Brahma-Sutra. Manchmal wird er mit Vyasa gleichgesetzt, der zuweilen auch als Author der Brahma-Sutras angesehen wird.
