Nidana
Die 12 Nidānas (Pali/Sans.: nidāna : Ursache , Grund, Quelle, Ursprung)[1] sind eine Anwendung des buddhistischen pratītyasamutpāda - Konzeptes des abhängigen oder bedingten Entstehens. Sie decken avijja (Unwissenheit) als den Ursprung von dukkha (Leiden) auf.
Sie werden auch in Dīgha Nikāya Sutta 1 und 14 und im Brahmajala Sutta, Vers 3.71 beschrieben.
- avidya(sanskr.) - avijja(Pali) -(Unwissenheit)
- samskara - sankhara (Impulsive Aneignung)
- vijñana - viññana (Bewusstsein)
- nama-rupa - nama-rupa (Name und Form)
- sadayatana - salayatana (6 Sinne )
- sparsha - phassa (Kontakt)
- vedana - vedana (Gefühl)
- trishna - tanha (Begehren)
- upadana - upadana 8Greifen)
- bhava - bhava (Werden)
- jati - jati (Geburt)
- jara-marana - jara-marana (Alter und Tod)
